Flat Floors Make Floors Last
Most Dubai apartments have concrete slabs with a sand and cement screed, often topped with ceramic or porcelain tiles. Screeds are rarely perfectly flat, and click flooring laid on dips will flex and break at the joints.
We check every floor with a long straightedge and laser, then level with self-levelling compound where needed. Only then do new floors go down.

How Much Does Flooring Installation Cost in Dubai?
Laminate and SPC vinyl installation starts from AED 25 per square metre for labour, and from about AED 70 per square metre supplied and fitted. Levelling and skirting are quoted separately when needed. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
How Flat Does a Floor Need to Be for New Flooring?
Most click flooring needs no more than about 3 mm of variation over 2 metres. More than that and boards flex, click joints break and floors sound hollow, so we level first.
Can New Flooring Go Over Concrete or Existing Tiles?
Yes, if the surface is flat, sound and dry. Floating laminate and SPC vinyl go straight over tiles with an underlay. Uneven tiles or concrete are levelled first.
Is Vinyl or Laminate Flooring More Affordable?
Both are budget-friendly. Laminate is often slightly cheaper per square metre for the board itself, while SPC vinyl costs a little more but is fully waterproof. Installation prices are similar.
Is Vinyl Flooring Good for Dubai Weather?
Yes. Rigid SPC vinyl is waterproof and stable in heat and humidity, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms and ground floors. Keep it out of long, direct sun behind glass, or use blinds.
