Custom Carpentry in Dubai

Off-the-shelf furniture rarely fits a Dubai apartment perfectly. Alcoves are odd sizes, ceilings are high and storage is always short. Our carpenters build wardrobes, cabinets and furniture to measure, and repair the doors, frames and woodwork you already have.

Materials

Carpentry Boards and Woods Used in Dubai

Moisture-Resistant MDF

Green-core MDF that handles humidity better than standard board. It is the usual base for painted wardrobes and cabinets. It machines cleanly for smooth, modern profiles.

Marine Plywood

Plywood bonded with waterproof glue that resists damp and swelling. It is used under sinks, in bathrooms and for outdoor carcasses. It holds screws strongly.

Block Board

Solid timber strips faced with veneer, light and stiff for long shelves and doors. It resists sagging better than chipboard. It suits tall wardrobe doors.

Solid Hardwood

Oak, teak, beech and meranti for doors, frames, tops and outdoor work. It can be sanded and refinished for decades. It costs more but lasts the longest.

Carpentry for Dubai Apartments and Villas

Humidity is the main enemy of woodwork in Dubai. Standard chipboard swells near kitchens, bathrooms and balcony doors, so we use moisture-resistant MDF or marine plywood wherever damp is likely, and seal every cut edge.

A carpenter who builds and repairs also saves you money. Many wardrobe and cabinet problems are a loose hinge, a failed drawer slide or a dropped door, fixed in minutes rather than replaced.

For hardware upgrades, see door hardware installation. For flat-pack furniture, see IKEA furniture assembly, and for shelves, shelving installation.
