Why Wallpaper Removal Needs Care
Most Dubai walls are gypsum board or plaster with a paper facing or skim coat. Wallpaper hung without a primer bonds directly to that surface, so tearing it off dry pulls the facing with it.
Leftover paste is the second problem. Paint over residue cracks and peels, and new wallpaper will not stick evenly, so the wall must be washed clean.
