Cleaning products under the sink, knives in the drawer, medicines in the bathroom cabinet: a toddler finds them all within days of learning to open doors. We fit magnetic cabinet locks, drawer latches and door locks that adults open in a second and children cannot.
Lock Types
Hidden locks fitted inside the cupboard door and opened with a magnetic key held outside. Nothing shows on the outside of your kitchen. Toddlers cannot work out how to open them.
Spring catches that stop a drawer opening more than a few centimetres until pressed. They protect knives, utensils and batteries. They fit inside the drawer, out of sight.
Flexible straps that stick across two doors or a door and a frame. They need no screws. They suit rented kitchens and bathrooms.
Locks fitted high on sliding glass and wardrobe doors. They stop toddlers opening doors to balconies and closets. They are essential in high-rise apartments.
Latches that keep the toilet lid closed. They prevent toys being flushed and small children falling in. Adults release them with one hand.
Covers and locks that stop toddlers opening doors to laundry rooms, stores and bathrooms. They keep dangerous rooms closed. Adults still open them easily.
Locked Tight
Kitchens and bathrooms hold most of the dangerous items in a home, and toddlers learn to open cupboards remarkably fast.
We fit hidden magnetic locks, drawer latches and adhesive locks for rentals, then show everyone at home how they open.
How We Work
We open every low cupboard and drawer with you and note what is inside: chemicals, sharp tools, medicines, glass and small items.
Magnetic locks for kitchens you own, adhesive locks for rentals, latches for drawers and high locks for doors to balconies.
Locks are fitted inside doors and drawers and aligned so they catch every time. Adhesive locks are applied to cleaned surfaces.
Everyone who uses the kitchen is shown how to open the locks, and spare magnetic keys are stored where adults can find them.
Start with the cupboard under the kitchen sink, where cleaning products, dishwasher tablets and drain cleaners usually live. Then the bathroom cabinet with medicines and razors, the knife and utensil drawers, and any low cupboard with glass or heavy items.
Washing machines, ovens, fridges and dishwashers need their own locks, covered under appliance locks in Dubai. Doors onto balconies need high locks and, often, window locks too.
Locks are one part of making a home safe. See our baby proofing in Dubai page for the full plan, or book a babyproofing assessment to have every risk listed for you.

A hidden lock and a magnetic key that releases it through the door. Nothing is visible on the outside. They are the most secure cupboard locks for toddlers.
Catches that hold drawers nearly closed until pressed. They protect knives and small items. Adults open them with one finger.
Strong straps with adhesive pads for doors and appliances. No screws are needed. They peel off when no longer required.
Locks fixed at adult height on sliding glass and wardrobe doors. They block access to balconies and closets. They are quick to release for adults.

Owners and tenants get different lock options. Magnetic locks suit owned kitchens and adhesive locks suit rentals. You get what fits your situation.
A lock that sometimes misses is worse than none. Each lock is tested repeatedly. It catches every time the door closes.
We look beyond cupboards to doors leading to balconies and pools. High locks stop toddlers wandering out. These are often the most important locks.
Grandparents and nannies are shown the locks too. Frustration leads to locks being removed. We make sure they stay in use.
A visit to fit several locks starts from AED 150. Locks cost from AED 15 each fitted, depending on type. Magnetic lock kits are slightly more than simple latches. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
