Staining from AED 45*/m²
Orange-toned parquet from older villas can feel dated next to modern furniture. Staining changes the colour of your existing floor: lighter natural tones, warm walnut or dramatic ebony. We sand, test samples on your floor and stain evenly before sealing.
Colours
Light, matt finishes that look like untreated oak. They suit modern and Scandinavian interiors. They make rooms feel bigger.
Rich mid-brown tones that warm up white walls. They hide dust well. They suit classic villas.
Cool, muted tones popular in modern apartments. They pair with grey and black furniture. They look calm.
Deep, dramatic floors for statement rooms. They show dust more. They suit large villas.
New Colour
Staining changes the colour of your floor without replacing it.
We sand, test samples, stain evenly and seal.
Process
The old finish is fully removed so stain absorbs evenly.
Several stain colours are tested on your floor.
The chosen stain is applied evenly and wiped back.
Lacquer or oil is applied to protect the colour.
The same stain looks different on oak, merbau and teak, so a sample on your own floor is essential. We test colours in a corner and let you see them in daylight.
Lighter colours hide sand and dust better in Dubai homes. Very dark floors look stunning but show every footprint.
For sanding only, see sanding and refinishing. For hardwood, see hardwood refinishing, and for wood finishes, wood staining.

Most parquet can be restored. Loose blocks are re-fixed, damaged ones replaced, then the floor is sanded back to fresh timber, gaps filled and resealed with lacquer or oil. Engineered parquet can usually be sanded a few times depending on its wear layer.
A maintenance polish of an average room takes a few hours. Full sanding and refinishing of an apartment usually takes two to four days, including drying time between coats.
