Blocks that click underfoot, sound hollow or have started to lift are a sign the adhesive has failed. Left alone, they break edges and spread. We re-bond loose blocks by lifting and re-gluing or by injecting adhesive, then refinish the area.

We re-bond them by lifting or injecting adhesive, then touch up.
Methods
Fully loose
Fully loose blocks are lifted, old adhesive scraped off and blocks re-bonded. It gives the strongest repair. The area is then refinished.
Hollow but in place
Small holes are drilled and adhesive injected under hollow blocks. Weights hold them while it cures. Holes are filled invisibly.
Causes
A single loose block soon loosens its neighbours as they knock together. Re-fixing early keeps the repair small.
If many blocks lift together in a ridge, the floor may lack expansion space at the walls. We check perimeter gaps and relieve them if needed.
For moisture, see water damage repair. For levelling, see subfloor preparation, and for broken blocks, plank replacement.
Tenting
A raised ridge of blocks usually means no expansion gap.
Keep Pieces
