Timber cladding on modern villas, AC screens and facade panels look striking when new and turn patchy grey within a year or two of Dubai sun. We clean, sand and stain or paint exterior timber cladding to restore an even colour and protect it.
01 / Process
Grey, dust and algae are washed off at low pressure.
Rough and patchy areas are sanded for an even surface.
UV-resistant stain or exterior paint is applied in two coats.
Coverage is checked in daylight from different angles.

Even Colour
Cladding weathers unevenly in Dubai sun.
We clean, sand and stain cladding to an even, protected finish.
Cladding on different sides of a villa weathers at different speeds. Staining the whole facade evens out the colour so it looks intentional.
Penetrating stains are better than film-forming varnishes outdoors in Dubai, because they do not peel as the timber moves.
For villa painting, see villa exterior painting. For washing, see deck and cladding washing, and for sealing, weatherproof sealing.

Indoor wood is usually recoated every few years. Outdoor timber in Dubai sun needs re-oiling or restaining every 6 to 12 months, and handrails or floors in busy areas every 12 to 24 months.
Paint covers the wood with an opaque colour and hides the grain. Stain soaks in and changes the colour while keeping the grain visible. Varnish or lacquer is a clear protective coat on top. Many jobs combine a stain with a varnish or oil.
We stock natural, oak, teak, walnut, mahogany, ebony, grey and white-wash tones from trusted brands, and can mix custom shades. We test samples on your timber before staining.
Furniture staining starts from AED 300 per piece, doors from AED 250 and decks from AED 40 per square metre. Larger jobs are quoted after seeing the timber. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
