New Joinery to Old Floors
New doors or cabinets matched to existing parquet. The room looks consistent. No mismatched tones.
Al Salam Tower, Office 15B, Al Barsha, DubaiEvery day, 8am to 10pm
Matching new joinery to an existing floor, or a repaired door to the rest, needs a custom stain. Off-the-shelf colours rarely match exactly. We mix stains, test them on your actual timber and adjust until the colour is right, then apply it evenly.
Process
We look at the colour, undertone and grain you want to match.
Stain bases and tints are mixed in small batches.
Samples are applied to offcuts or a hidden area of your wood.
The mix is refined until it matches, then applied evenly.
The same stain looks different on oak, pine, teak and MDF veneer. Testing on your actual timber is the only reliable way to match a colour.
Lighting changes colour too. We check samples in daylight and under your room lights before deciding.
For furniture, see furniture staining. For floors, see parquet staining, and for cabinets, cabinet staining.

Uses
New doors or cabinets matched to existing parquet. The room looks consistent. No mismatched tones.
A replaced door or tread blended with the rest. The repair disappears. Patching looks seamless.
Colours from a designer's sample or photo. We match the tone on your timber. Results are tested first.
Oak and pine take stain differently. We adjust the mix for each species. They end up matching.
We stock natural, oak, teak, walnut, mahogany, ebony, grey and white-wash tones from trusted brands, and can mix custom shades. We test samples on your timber before staining.
Paint covers the wood with an opaque colour and hides the grain. Stain soaks in and changes the colour while keeping the grain visible. Varnish or lacquer is a clear protective coat on top. Many jobs combine a stain with a varnish or oil.
Matte looks natural and hides marks, satin is a practical middle ground for furniture and doors, and gloss is the most wipeable but shows scratches. Most Dubai homes choose matte or satin.
