Block and Plaster Walls
The most common in Dubai villas and towers. They are checked for hollow plaster first. Primers control suction.

Wall tiles show every error: a crooked line, an uneven joint or a badly cut tile around a socket. We set ceramic, porcelain, marble and mosaic wall tiles from a level datum line, keep joints even and cut neatly around switches, pipes and windows.

Straight Lines
Wall tiles show every mistake.
We set from a laser line and cut neatly around fittings.
Process
Walls are checked for flatness and plumb, and repaired if needed.
A laser line sets the first full row, not the floor.
Tiles are set with spacers and checked as we go.
Joints are grouted and edges trimmed and sealed.
Walls
The most common in Dubai villas and towers. They are checked for hollow plaster first. Primers control suction.
Moisture-resistant board is used in wet areas. Tile weight limits are respected. Joints are taped.
The best base for showers and heavy tiles. It is rigid and water resistant. Joints are sealed.
Possible when old tiles are sound and flat. A bonding primer is applied. Wall depth around fittings is checked.
Floors are rarely level, so starting the first row on the floor makes every row crooked. We set a level datum and cut the bottom row to suit.
Layout is planned so cut tiles sit in corners and behind doors, not in the middle of a feature wall.
For floors, see floor tile installation. For broken tiles, see cracked tile replacement, and for splashbacks, kitchen backsplash tiling.

Often, yes, if the old tiles are flat, firmly bonded and not hollow. We test them, prime with a bonding primer and use a suitable adhesive. Door heights and floor levels are checked first.
A bathroom usually takes three to five days including waterproofing and curing. A kitchen splashback is often done in a day. Floors depend on the area and tile size.
We measure and survey the surface, agree tiles and layout, prepare and waterproof where needed, set tiles on the right adhesive, grout and seal, then clean up. Most rooms take two to four days including curing time.
