Honest About Emergency Hours

We are not a 24 hour service. We are open every day from 8am to 10pm, and urgent safety faults go to the front of the queue. If something is sparking or smoking, call Dubai Civil Defence on 997 first.

Our electricians carry breakers, RCDs, sockets and cable, so many urgent faults are fixed on the first visit.

For tripping, see DB tripping repair. For panel faults, see DB panel repair, and for short circuits, short circuit repair.

Emergency Electrician: FAQs

Do You Offer a 24 Hour Emergency Electrician?

We are open every day from 8am to 10pm and prioritise urgent electrical faults within those hours, with same-day visits where possible. For sparks, smoke or fire, switch off the main breaker, leave the area and call Dubai Civil Defence on 997.

What Should I Do If the Whole Building Has No Power?

If neighbours have also lost power, the fault is usually on the supply side. Report it to DEWA on 991. If only your home is affected, check the main breaker and RCD in your DB panel, then call us.

Is It Safe to Reset a Tripped Breaker Myself?

You can reset it once. If it trips again straight away, leave it off and unplug appliances on that circuit. Repeated resetting can hide a dangerous fault.

How Much Does an Electrician Cost in Dubai?

An electrical repair visit starts from AED 150, and replacing a socket or switch starts from AED 60 per point. Larger jobs are quoted after the fault is found. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
