Paint Peels in Strips
Likely cause: No bonding primer on laminate or gloss.
What we do: Sanded and primed with a bonding primer.
Al Salam Tower, Office 15B, Al Barsha, DubaiEvery day, 8am to 10pm
Dated kitchen cabinets, orange timber wardrobes and tired furniture can look new with the right paint. The secret is preparation: degreasing, sanding and a bonding primer, so the new colour does not chip. We repaint cabinets and furniture to a durable finish.
Process
Doors, drawers and hardware are removed and labelled.
Kitchen grease is removed and surfaces sanded to give grip.
A primer designed for laminate, lacquer or timber is applied.
Two coats of cabinet paint are applied, then doors and hardware refitted.
Repainting cabinets costs far less than replacing a kitchen and is much less disruptive. Sound cabinet boxes with dated doors are ideal for repainting, with new handles to complete the look.
Many Dubai kitchens have laminate or lacquered doors. Paint only sticks to these with the right bonding primer, which is why preparation takes as long as painting.
If cabinets are damaged or swollen, see kitchen cabinet repair and refacing. For furniture repairs, see furniture repair, and for timber, wood staining.
New Handles
New handles finish the look and can cover old screw holes.
Curing
Painted cabinets are usable in a day but fully hard after about a week.
New Colour
Painted cabinets can transform a kitchen without replacing it.
We degrease, sand, prime and paint so the colour stays put.

Yes. Furniture is moved to the centre of the room and covered, floors are protected with sheets, and sockets, switches and fittings are masked before painting.
We use trusted brands sold in the UAE such as Jotun, National Paints and Dulux, choosing washable emulsions for walls and enamel for woodwork. You can also choose a specific brand and colour code.
