Some spaces need a mirror made to fit: an alcove, a wardrobe door, a wall between two windows or a splashback with socket cut-outs. We measure precisely, have the mirror cut with polished edges and cut-outs, and fit it so it looks built in.
01 / Uses
Mirrors cut to fill an alcove exactly. They make narrow spaces feel deeper. Edges are scribed to uneven walls.
Mirror panels cut to door size. They are bonded and clipped safely. Hinges are adjusted for the extra weight.
Mirror or tinted mirror splashbacks in bars and dressing areas. Socket and switch cut-outs are made precisely. Toughened options are used near heat.
Large mirrors between windows or behind consoles. Panels are planned around doors and sockets. The wall looks built in.
02 / Process
We measure the space precisely and note cut-outs, angles and edge finish.
The mirror is cut to size with polished or bevelled edges and cut-outs.
Supports are fixed and the wall checked for flatness.
The mirror is fitted, secured and sealed where needed.
Built In
Made-to-measure mirrors make awkward spaces look built in.
We measure, cut and fit mirrors with polished edges and precise cut-outs.
Walls are rarely perfectly square. We measure each corner and edge, so the mirror fits the space rather than the drawing, and scribe edges where needed.
Cut-outs for sockets and switches are measured on site and cut before delivery. Electrical faceplates are removed and refitted on top of the mirror for a clean finish.
For wardrobes, see wardrobe assembly. For frameless looks, see frameless mirror installation, and for glass, glass pane replacement.
