Framed and frameless mirrors centred above the basin. Height is set for everyone who uses it. Fixings are stainless.
Al Salam Tower, Office 15B, Al Barsha, DubaiEvery day, 8am to 10pm
Bathroom mirrors go up over tiles, above a basin, in a room full of steam. They need tile-safe drilling, moisture-safe fixings and careful centring. We install vanity, LED, backlit and mirrored cabinets so they sit level and stay clear of moisture damage.
Mirror Types
Framed and frameless mirrors centred above the basin. Height is set for everyone who uses it. Fixings are stainless.
Illuminated mirrors with demisters and touch switches. Plug-in models sit near a shaver socket. Hard-wired units are connected by our electrician.
Storage cabinets with mirror doors such as GODMORGON. They are fixed to carry full shelves. Doors are aligned and hinges adjusted.
Statement shapes popular in modern Dubai bathrooms. Hung from secure hooks or cleats. Centred carefully on the basin.
Steam reaches the back of a mirror and slowly attacks the silver coating, which shows as black edges. Stainless fixings, mirror-safe silicone and a small air gap behind the glass prevent it.
LED mirrors need power. Plug-in models can use a nearby socket, and hard-wired models must be connected safely by a qualified electrician. DEWA-approval work is referred to approved contractors.
For new taps and fixtures, see bathroom fixture replacement. For tiles, see tile regrouting, and for other mirrors, frameless mirror installation.
Drill the Grout
Where possible we drill through grout lines so tiles stay intact.
Demisters
A heated demister pad keeps the mirror clear after showers.
Steam Proof
Bathroom mirrors face steam, tiles and daily cleaning.
We fit them centred, level and with moisture-safe fixings.
