Painting Masonry in Dubai
Masonry needs to breathe. Non-breathable paint traps moisture behind it, which shows as blisters and peeling on hot days. We use breathable acrylic or elastomeric masonry coatings.
Fresh render and concrete are highly alkaline and burn through ordinary paint. They need curing time and an alkali-resistant primer first.

What Kind of Paint Do You Use?
We use exterior acrylic and elastomeric paints from brands such as Jotun, National Paints and Dulux, with UV resistance, anti-algae additives and heat-reflective options chosen for each wall.
How Do You Handle Painting in Different Weather Conditions?
We paint between October and April where possible, avoid midday sun on hot walls, and stop in high humidity, dust storms or rain, because paint applied in those conditions blisters, dries patchy or fails to bond.
How Long Does Exterior Paint Last in Dubai?
Good quality exterior acrylic paint usually lasts five to seven years in Dubai, and elastomeric or premium UV-resistant systems can last longer. Walls facing west and south fade faster because of the strong sun.
