Over-The-Range Microwaves
Mounted on a wall plate above the hob with a top cabinet bolt. They often double as a hood. Venting is set to ducted or recirculating.
Wall-Mounted Brackets
Freestanding microwaves lifted off the worktop on a rated shelf bracket. Fixings suit block or gypsum. Worktop space is freed up.
Combination Microwave Ovens
Larger units that grill and bake as well. Some need a dedicated circuit. We check the electrics first.
When to Repair and When to Replace
Simple faults such as turntable couplers, door switches and waveguide covers are cheap to fix. Magnetron failures on low-cost models usually cost more than a new microwave, and we will say so.
Microwaves hold high voltage even when unplugged, so internal repairs are done by trained technicians only.

What Is Included with Appliance Installation?
Unpacking, positioning, levelling, connecting water inlet, drain and power where needed, a leak and function test, and clearing the packaging. Extra hoses, valves or brackets are added at cost if required.
