Why Every Tall Bookcase Should Be Anchored
Furniture tip-overs injure children every year, and most happen with tall, top-heavy furniture that was never anchored. The anti-tip kit in the box only works if it is fixed into the wall properly.
Gypsum walls need special care. A screw in plasterboard alone will not stop a falling bookcase, so we use metal cavity anchors or fix into the frame behind.
