How We Hang Wallpaper

Prepare the Wall
Old paper is removed, holes filled, walls sanded and a wallpaper primer applied.

Plan the Layout
We set a plumb line and plan where seams fall, avoiding joins at corners and windows.

Hang and Match
Each strip is pasted, hung, matched to the last and smoothed out.

Trim and Finish
Edges are trimmed at ceilings, skirting, sockets and frames, and paste is wiped off.
Choosing and Supplying Wallpaper
Batch numbers matter. Rolls from different print runs can differ slightly in colour. Check every roll has the same batch number before installation starts.

Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
How Long Does Wallpaper Installation Take?
A feature wall usually takes two to four hours. A full bedroom takes about a day, including wall preparation.
Should I Supply My Own Wallpaper?
You can. Send us the brand, pattern repeat and wall sizes before buying, and we will tell you how many rolls to order with a little extra for pattern matching and future repairs.
Do You Remove Old Wallpaper First?
Yes. Old wallpaper is removed and the wall repaired and primed before new paper goes up, because hanging over old paper leads to bubbles and peeling.
